  1. A sunday disaster. 3 out of the first 4 games my son played had no tickets. Some games aren’t even working. Basketball and alley roller games are missing balls. Place is packed at max capacity with many birthday parties. Should have staffed accordingly.

  2. Some of the machines don’t work, or just charges your card but doesn’t work. The products to swipe your points for are nothing but junk. 250 tickets is $2.5. you can buy the same thing from dollar store. Just a rip off. Our last time here.

  3. Food: I love the Unicorn Chorros. 5/5
Service: Most employees are kind. However, the games don’t work. 3/5
    Atmosphere: 4/5

The workers are nice and caring, so I don’t have to worry about that.
The Pizza and Unicorn Chorros Are delicious.
However, the only complaint I have is about the games. The games are expensive, and some of the machine barley/doesn’t work at all. I paid Around 30$ Dollars just for 10 minutes of playing those games. One of the example of the broken games is fruit ninja. They never fixed that game in months. That is the reason I took off two stars.

  4. My children and I have been big fans of Chuck E Cheese. But last night’s experience was really disappointing. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with one side jalapeño, cheesy bread, a salad and 3 drinks. We placed the order at 6:35 pm and the food wasn’t ready until almost 8:00 pm. The wait time for food was nothing I have ever experienced before. Finally when the pizza came out we learned there was no parmesan cheese or pepper flakes. We were told, “they were out”. How is that possible? We were all very hungry and upset to say the least. The food on the menu is pretty simple and it’s not cheap therefore food should not take that long to come out of the kitchen. This establishment was not busy as other times we’ve visited. The staff was friendly but slow in cleaning up the dining area as well.

  5. ordered pizza bundle online that had two pizzas, churros and a goodie bag. they waited almost an hour before telling me they were out of sausage and hadn’t started making my pizzas yet. i asked to speak to a manager but she wouldn’t come speak to me and the employee said they would give us a pizza no charge. then she comes out with two pizzas and the goodie bag but no churros. When i go to tell her another employee comes to take the pizzas out of my hands and says they arent mine and walks off with them just saying they arent mine. eventually im given two different pizzas and still no churros so i ask for them and she gets them for me. This took nearly 1 and 1/2 hrs!!!! unacceptable and i was still charged full price!

Located in North San Diego… Escondido. This is 1 of 3 locations in San Diego. Retro video game store I frequently visit for my fix for older games, consoles and accessories. Good variety of selection of games and consoles on hand. I mentioned in my review of their Mira Mesa store check their Instagram for latest trade ins for sale. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful… I was looking for a specific n64 game I wasn’t able to find on the shelf – they looked in the back for the game and was able to find it. Thanks 🙌🏻. If they don’t have a game in store they can also check their other locations for you.

I was in today and got Wipeout Omega Collection for the PS4!!! If you’re looking for something fun; they probably have it! The staff there is great and always welcoming. Thanks again, Joey for being so helpful!

Fun selection of rare game and anime stuff. Colin and Joey were super helpful, and I loved Joey’s Bob Ross costume. I can’t believe they have the Bee Movie Game, the greatest video game of all time. Truly an amazing store.

I love this store! There is so many retro items that it feels like a Time Machine. I have been able to reunite with my favorite games from my childhood because this store exists. They are always posting updates on their Instagram page. I love the different items such as anime figures, stickers, plushies, keychains that are available. The employees have always been friendly and helpful with any questions I’ve ever had, there really is passion put into this place.

Hello Calico and all others reading this, The problem is they stopped hosting game nights for Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Super Smash Bro players. This is a game store and is suppose to be a home for geeks and gamers but now it is a place for old antiques to collect dust and rarely be purchased or replenished due to their lack of replaceable stock and are bad for a constant source of income value (they lack replaceability like MTG & YGO cards have). I know they replaced the tables for stock due to lack of income but I think the real issue is the amount of disks and old consoles they have lying around that will rarely be bought. Bring your community back, bring the players back to Galico and you’ll make better profit margins (if you are yet) from your close community who actually have a passion for these products. Though, before you do this, replace all the antiques and disks with a consistent renewable source of up-to-date game cards, board games, and more merchandise—that alone can revive any games store business in addition to bringing your community back and game nights! Hopefully game nights will return, because until then there really is a lack of a need to go into the store other than to buy something I can already order online or a quick cash grab for collectors (but how does that benefit Galico?). Your competition across town us hosting game nights and stealing all the slim geek tabletop community, don’t let them beat you down, bring game nights back and rethink your stock. Sincere thanks for the read, Gamer!

Good selection. Found what I wanted. No waiting although this was around during first hour the store opened.

Always a waste of time. I’ll come in during hours of operation, but doors stay locked and no one will answer.

Transactions take very long to complete, around 7 to 10 minutes each. Currently only 5 people allowed inside the store at one time. There is a few up selling parts to every sale. The gentleman working, Brooks, is very good at selling and explaining things very clearly by the way. It’s not fun to stand and hear the indecisive person decide. The prices are to make a profit, stop complaining about them. This industry is as tough as your grandfather was smoking cigarettes and eating 20oz steaks every night. No noobs here.

Awsome! I’ve been coming to this gamestop since before they had “Edge” Rewards(so yes that is a very long time). They always have a lively positive and helpful staff. Every Manager that I’ve interacted with here has always been very helpful, knowledgeable and positive and the current one Chelsea is the most lively of them all!. Always a great time coming here!
