  1. Had a great time staying at the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street! It’s cool that the party is right out the door. Good eats, big drinks, good music all day and good bands in the evenings! If you don’t like loud music, stay off the downtown street because the party goes until 2am. If you want to handle, eat, party and stumble back to your room easily, this is your Vegas.

BTW, The Hoover Dam is a half hour drive and Grand Canyon West is another two hours past that! Highly recommend the side trip!

  2. You can’t come to Vegas without making a trip to Fremont Street. So much to see here. Lots of sparkling lights, zip-lines, street performers, delicious food and drinks, music, entertainment, casinos, and more. Definitely worth the experience.

    Highly recommend.

Tip: If you have kids with you, I wouldn’t bring them down here after 8pm, this place really starts to heat up after that, and is really suited for adults only at that point.

  3. Super fun crazy experience. Pretty much an adult only thing, especially at night and on the weekends. It’s pretty loud too, you will see every and all kinds of people here. The food is great and the casinos are pretty cool too, a few of them are 21+ only. Multiple bands play at the same time on different stages and the main covered light show is awesome.

  4. What a fantastic spot and everyone should visit here at least once. In the evening the place really comes to life with this video ceiling and the effects create such a great atmosphere. Combined with the live entertainment throughout, loads of bars and restaurants it’s easy to spend a whole night here and fortunately the places outside of hotels stay open until the very early hours. It certainly lives up to the hype and is my favourite place in the city.

  5. One of the most famous shopping and eatery streets in Las Vegas. A unique experience with rooftop light with LED lights and incredible designs. There a lots of things to do and enjoy in the walking street. Good restaurants, live music, gambling machines, or even to walk around to enjoy the vibes. I would recommend to walk during the evening to enjoy the light experience. Definitely a place to visit in your Las Vegas trip. Parking is not easy. Nearest parking mall costs 8$ an hour. If you are lucky might find cheaper street parking near by.

    Great detour while in Vegas.
The visuals in the area are fabulous. Several areas to view from a handful perspectives. The dam itself is impressive. Even more so when you really dig into the engineering.

    Super cool experience.

A must see! The tour is great! We loved it and the guide was very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Even in the dead of summer, it was hot but manageable. We all like the heat though so it doesn’t bother us. Not for the claustrophobic.

Hoover dam is one of marvellous modern structures you would see in the world and it was constructed in 1935. You will be astonished after learning more about the dam and its construction, which was a magnificent experience. Definitely recommend taking power plan tour ticket . A guide will accompany you as you explore and provide fascinating details about the dam. It was a great pleasure to tour the power plant and learn about the significance of this magnificent building. The cost of the power plant tour ticket is $15 per person. Near the dam, there is a souvenir shop, cafe, parking garage, and restrooms. Around the dam, there are a number of additional scenic vantage points.

So beautiful! Very cool experience to see. The views are amazing of the Dam and Lake Mead. Part of the dam was closed so we went on the shorter tour but it was still very fun. The tour guide and staff were nice. We watched a 10 min documentary and then got on elevator that went down so many stories. It was hot but definitely worth it. Drink plenty of water!! Mask are still required right now. I suggest when done at the Dam to got to southwest diner (16 min away) very good. Overall great place!!!!!

It was very pretty and the views are great. We didn’t do any tours or anything but I’m sure that would be fun. However just know if you go in the summer it is insanely hot.

This was fun. Slow and steady. It was fully worth the experience. Sometimes you just have to grab your parents and pull them into the one with the bar in it. They didn’t have a clue that I last minute upgraded. They had plenty fun in the end. Bartender was hilarious! View was spectacular. Drinks were strong!

Definitely get your tickets in advance online, if you want to go at night on weekends or holidays. It’s $34.75 for an adult at night. Show ID for LOCALS DISCOUNT – $3 off! The view at the top is beautiful and worth the wait. You won’t be disappointed. One of the best ways to see the city of lights. The spheres are handicap accessible and air conditioned with limited bench seating inside. The ride is 30 minutes and goes up over 500 feet in the air. If you’re afraid of heights, don’t go on it. If you book a sphere with a bar in it, there are no bathrooms in any of them; so make sure you’re good at holding your alcohol! 😜

We had an amazing happy hour on the High Roller and I would absolutely recommend this experience! It’s a unique and fun way to see all of Vegas. Though I’m sure seeing it at night would be marvellous, we really didn’t have to wait long to get on during the day. We bought tickets in advance and had an amazing time.

Special thank you to Cheryl, who was an amazing, knowledgeable and fun bartender! You made our experience worthwhile!

My family wanted to try out the High Roller. This was my first time trying out the High Roller and I have to say, I wasn’t disappointed. You definitely get some nice views of the Las Vegas Strip as you go up higher. The ride is 30 minutes and you do get a choice of a pod with a bar or no bar. With the exception of the middle aged female employee, the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back on High Roller at night.

Not a bad experience. We were on the bar car which was nice. I think there should be more seats but that is just me. Our bartender was great. Knowledgeable and informative with great enthusiasm. This is a must experience if you visit Vegas. I liked taking pics at the different sides and angles.

We spent several hours here doing short hikes and just exploring the canyons. We visited in October and it was hot 80s F, but not unbearable. Many of the trails are very walkable and easy. I would recommend a hat and sunscreen as there is very little shade. It was about a one hour drive from Las Vegas and a perfect day trip. We combined this with also driving to Death Valley at sunset. Beautiful landscapes and so much to see. Highly recommend!

Red Rock is the perfect day trip if you are in Las Vegas and want to enjoy the outdoors. There are numerous trails, each with dynamically different scenery. The Calico Tanks is a 2.5 mile round trip hike with about 400-500 feet in elevation change. It is absolutely beautiful. When you get to the end, scale the wall for an amazing view of the entire Las Vegas Valley. If you are a bit adventurous, go off trail on the way back. You can’t get lost, as the canyon walls lead back to the trail head.

If you’re in Vegas this is a must see. It’s a quick 30min drive from the strip. It’s like a 20 minute drive without stopping to drive through. Very inexpensive and excellent scenery. There are areas to pull off every mile, each with incredible back drops for photos. There are trails after virtually every stop. From short hikes to advanced trails for long hikes. It’s got everything you could ask for. Absolutely gorgeous, a must see and one of the few inexpensive experiences you can find in Vegas.

Amazing scenic drive and the weather was perfect that day. If you time your entry right, don’t forget to have a picnic lunch at the Willow Springs parking lot… plenty of picnic tables just be aware they aren’t covered so you’re exposed to the sun. Many stops and parking lots along the scenic drive for photo opportunities. I’ll be back here again someday!

This was my first real glimpse of a proper desert, with mountains, giant boulders, Joshua trees, and those red rocks that give this place its name. It’s absolutely gorgeous and if you’re visiting Las Vegas this is a must. It’s only a 40-45 minute drive, and it’s easily accessible. There’s a 13 mile scenic loop that offers many stopping places for pictures. There are also many great trails. It’s just incredible to have such a scenic area so close to the Vegas strip. Do take plenty of water, but it’s just on the outskirts of suburban Las Vegas so food, gas, and shopping are only a short drive away.

Lake Mead is a beautiful location. The lake is usually very busy with activity. I have been there many times in the past. The lake is especially great for water sport recreation. This is a great place to enjoy the outdoor scenery and wildlife. I recommend stopping by if your passing through.

Beautiful lake and beach scenery. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, which makes you feel tranquil and serene. Between the shore and the inland edge of the dune field, sand alternates with the vegetated ground. Under the warm and bright sunshine, seen from a very high and faraway place, rising layers of mountain peaks make a magnificent scene. It is also a great place for hiking, fishing, camping, or just having a rest for fun.

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE !! It is one of the nicest get away spots I’ve seen in a long time. It is large enough to have your own area for 500+ yards if camping. It is easy enough to get down to the water & swim. There are restrooms located in different spots around (port-a-john style). It is simply breath-taking.

Absolutely beautiful park with nice areas to pull off the road to get photos and watch the sunset.

This park is also located very close to the “Lake Vegas” resort area. We were staying there and made multiple trips to Lake Mead while we were in town since it was so close.

Once on site, was able to take a shuttle to 3 different locations, each more beautiful than the next. The shuttle drivers were great, providing history and entertainment along the short ride. Totally worth it.
