  1. The view from our room was fabulous. The hotel was clean and staff were courteous. We experienced no issues. The only complaint I could give has nothing to do with the hotel, there weren’t alot of nearby bars that had pool tables or darts that were within walking distance. If the hotel had something like that, it would have made money off of us. Otherwise, great location – 1.3 miles from State Farm Arena, CNN center etc. Would recommend and stay again.

  2. This hotel has everything in one location. The rooms are nice the food options are great (but pricey). The views of the city during the day and night are nice and they have connecting rooms. The rooms, bathrooms, and the decor works well together. The staff here was really friendly and nice. My family really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing this facility should add is an extra elevator to the parking garage (it gets hectic at checkout time). I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return if I am in the area!!!

  3. The stay here was amazing as we stayed during the Saints vs Falcons game weekend. Really nice hotel with several floors. Valet service was good up until the point of checkout, took forever to get our vehicle. First room didn’t have any hot water and the AC didn’t work so they gave a nice complimentary upgrade. Hotel is very close to many attractions and places to eat. Will definitely stay here again. There is also a bar, Starbucks and a nice little lounge to chill out at.

  4. I had a very nice stay here for a work trip. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a cleaner, better maintained hotel – the room was spotless. We’re talking, not even a little bit of dust on the exhaust grille in the bathroom. Impressive.

The glass elevators are a really cool feature – love the full-height atrium up and down the tower. There are also nice views of downtown ATL from the rooms.

  5. Was a great stay the have lots of food options and elevators were always available. Don’t get the pizza in the store was kind of overpriced for undercooked pizza and it’s small. The restaurant won’t answer to schedule a reservation so more then likely you won’t be able to eat at them. But everything else was fine. Rooms are kind of oldish but not overpriced. They give you water when you arrive that’s nice.

An upper mid scale hotel right in the center of Atlanta’s convention scene. A short walk to many dining options. The hotel itself is well maintained but noticeably worn (warped wallpaper/paint and cracked tiles prevalent throughout). The dining area and pool/garden are top notch for the price point.
Two noticeable negatives came from my visit. 1, the parking area and transit to the hotel is atrocious. It’s a several minute walk through the unimproved and non wheelchair friendly garage to get to the parking hotel entrance. Once you have lugged your wheelchair up and down stairs due to the lack of ramps you will reach a door (that signs direct you to) where a faded sign will inform you that no entry is allowed. You will then need to backtrac, and if you are wheelchair bound cross into the street to enter the hotel. 2, the service elevators are loud and disconcerting. The doors pop and bang as well as opening before the elevator has stopped.
Overall the experience was mostly positive. A good stay for an on site convention.

The Sheraton is pretty much a motel 6 with a little bit of tile and a breakfast. Valet parking is 45 for the night and self parking is 35. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra 10 bucks as you will not find a parking space that is 1) available and 2) within 10 minutes of walking distance. The staff at the Sheraton are all pretty rude and there’s nothing you can do about it. Atlanta is a s#}+hole city and the people are reflective of it. Don’t expect more than you’re going to get and you won’t ever be disappointed. The bed was fine. The shower absolutely sucks and the thermostat didn’t work. Breakfast is $15. A person. Will I stay at the Sheraton again? Regretfully so.

Stayed here for Worlds 2022 weekend, was very pleased with our stay overall as the staff were all very nice even if they were busy with something else at the moment they still took the time to help us out. Rooms were very nice too, loved the fact they had 2 chairs; only downside we experienced was the service at the breakfast buffet was kind of meh, only saw a server to give us our check and that was it. Overall, would stay again if we are in downtown, very walkable to most places!

The stay was not all bad, but I wouldn’t stay again. The pool was closed and that was very disappointing because we had chose the hotel just for the pool. The room was pretty dirty and needed a deep clean. The air was broke and the room temp was either intolerable freezing or hot, humid and smelled a bit mildewy, no in between. The hall smelled bad. The neighborhood was pretty rough, a lot of homeless, so much panhandling, trash and drug use. Non homeless people were smoking pot in the parking lot and parking garage too. I was with kids so it was not somewhere I felt comfortable walking around. Not far away, in other parts of downtown there is still homelessness but not to the degree it was near this hotel. I suggest staying even closer to the aquarium if you want to be able to walk around more safely downtown. It was hard to feel safe coming and going and the valet staff wouldn’t let you use the front of the hotel to leave the car for a couple minutes. All that said…front desk staff were super friendly and really helpful during the whole stay. The staff at the restaurant, coffee bar and gift shop….all super nice and helpful. The elevator was really fast all day long, it was easy to come and go within the hotel. Room service came every day we were there and made beds, took trash and did a good job, most hotels don’t provide daily room service anymore. If it wasn’t for the great staff the review would be lower. The staff really did make the overall stay pretty nice. Also, check in and out was very fast, and the pillows were hands down the most comfortable hotel pillows I’ve ever come across.

We stayed downtown for the weekend in mid November. There was a heated (wow) up to 10 ft. deep pool that was great for families & you could have poolside rooms as well. The lounge was closed due to staffing issues which we would’ve really wanted to enjoy. I can’t rate the service really because other than checking in and out, we had no interactions.

I recently stayed here for the Anjelah Johnson show and had a fantastic stay. Tia, at check-in, was fantastic! Upon arrival she greeted us warmly and notated our status with Marriott, but not in the common uncaring way where they just notate your status and move on. She truly made me feel valuable. She told us that they could help us by courtesy car to get to the venue without my even having to ask. What a wonderful asset to your team! Further, at the Elite lounge Karon was absolutely splendid. She made me wish we were spending more time at your venue. On top of that the rooms were clean and the view was wonderful. The final item I truly enjoyed was that you had stations where I could fill up my water bottle. That is always a main concern for me when I travel and I find I have to end up using plastic bottled water, so it was a treat that I didn’t have to worry about this item. Well done!

I love this place. I always have. I have been coming here since the mid 2000’s – when Anime Weekend Atlanta moved to this location. I have spent many years at this hotel and also the convention center itself. It’s clean and the staff really are good people.

When I do stay there, I do argue that the parking fee is a little high…but there isn’t anything you can really do for that. You are paying for convenience and the hotel knows that. Sure, you can take your chances and park at the convention center…but good luck getting a spot.

I stay at Marriotts all over the country, and this is one of my favorite. The biggest asset to this hotel is the team. They are all super friendly and provide a top level of customer service that you can’t find in many other places! Mrs. O at the front desk truly started it off right! She got me checked in early and was super friendly and bubbly. Then the lovely team in the M Lounge! They remembered me from last years. I was shocked! The food was simple and good in the lounge. Plus it’s on the top floor which has a great view. The bar at the restaurant lobby is wonderful. The food was not very good at all, but the very friendly team sure made up for it! I always look forward to my Atlanta conferences because of this hotel!

We visited the lounge in the main lobby and Todd was our bartender. The hotel is beautiful as always. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years on an annual basis. The glass elevators are super cool. Todd was very friendly, gave us excellent service and is a hard worker. He took good care of us. Its very relaxing and the Christmas tree was still up on new years day. We enjoy everytime we come.

Nice 80’s hotel showing its age despite attempts at renovation. They really need to address the room bathrooms, and this place would be close to 5 stars again. Nice restaurant, excellent for breakfast, and the bar is good as well. Fair parking price @ $15/day. Would choose here for price/value is attending Braves games.
