Pleasantly surprised…one of the better airports I’ve gone through in this country. Some parts are older and in need of a face-lift, but there’s parts that are new and delightful. Specifically, found this outdoor terrace area at the end of terminal A that was really neat. Had nice seating and fire pits to hang out by. There was also plenty of nice seating inside w/ abundant power outlets.

This might be one of the best maintained larger airports that I have been to. I was connecting flights on this trip and was surprised at the ease of doing so, while it’s a large airport and there are alot of places to eat, shop and relax everything is an easy walk from your gate. There are many restrooms and stores to purchase things from as well, this airport has a lot of room to stretch out and walk or find a seat away from crowds as well. United has a hub at this airport so things are going to be geared more towards united here.

One of the best airports I have visited,
Absolutely too much crowd in the morning at security check but they have more than 20+ check points & it’s as fast as what we thought.

Baggage claim is far away & Need to take a train, Tunnel experience is ?we can find too many food courts inside. If you have time walk around the airport it’s kind of fun to see the plan’s around you.

    Excellent drive during night time.

Absolutely amazing experience as I arrived off of a flight to the Denver International Airport. I think deeply about what an experience means when it comes to navigation through the different terminals and the task of finding your bags in the baggage claim areas through the traveling process. I highly recommend this airport in Denver because the customer service level is significant compared to other airports I e had experienced with. The biggest thing about this airport is the ease navigation and helpful staff that are always on stand-bye to assist if need be. I will be back next year around that same time. Thank you Denver!

Enjoyed my 12 hour stay at the Airport! Found United Airlines staffs are helpful while the Frontier’s customer service staffs were rude and unprofessional. Didn’t find anyone on information desk of Airport , rather than there was a system of video chat. Restrooms were clean and Airport staffs were helpful with all means. Airport is big but easy to find the gates and terminals

We flew in here from Dallas as opposed to Denver International to get ourselves over to Crested Butte. What a difference! It’s clean, smaller, less crowded, logistics are a breeze, there is space inside the terminal, and great food choices once your inside. Their price points are very comparable to Denver. Save yourself some valuable time, by heading straight over to the car rental first, which is located just across the aisle from the luggage carosals. This is why we sit closer to the front of the plane in order to get off that place sooner than the rest of you. We then bolt straight over to the car rental counter. This is where you can potentially lose a lot of your time, waiting with the rest of the flights arriving. Airports do operate in waves or surge’s for sure. The key is to be one step ahead of the surge. Car rental lines are the worst! Not for us though. Check out that photo of the empty carosel area huh?! 5 minutes to rent our car, and our luggage was waiting for us! Very nice airport! We’ll be back here in the future!

This is a really nice smaller airport. You don’t get the people traffic like Denver so it’s more relaxing and not a rat race. Plenty of room at the restaurant. They have a coffee shop and a couple little convenience places for traveling needs. It’s very clean and considerably quiet. My only complaint is that for some reason flights get delayed or cancelled a lot. To me, it’s worth the effort though. Recommended.

Colorado Springs airport is a small but a very efficient airport. It’s very convenient to show up 90 minutes prior to make any flight at this airport. The airport offers direct flights to many locations, such as Las Vegas, Phoenix and Chicago for a very low fare. All of my experiences at this airport have been outstanding. I highly recommend this airport for your transportation need, the staff and security are very friendly and helpful.

Airport was clean and up to date. Rental car return was easy. TSA was the worst I have ever seen, and I travel for work on a regular basis. They have a TSA pre check line, but it’s just a second line. It was no faster than the other line. Furthermore, they funnel everyone into a single line that couldn’t be any slower unless they shut it down. There seemed to be plenty of workers, but everyone seemed to be just standing around with no sense of urgency at all.

I wish I could fly out of here more often since it’s right down the street. Parking was easy this morning with the shuttle waiting on him long term parking. Great United Staff and check-in help/process. Even the TSA person said good morning. You see this is an example of you can do your job and be polite. The airport itself is so clean and new looking. Thanks all! Keep up the great work!

I had to get to the airport several hours early and got there about 15 minutes after it opened. I had to wait for someone at the luggage check to come out to check my luggage. TSA didn’t start until 9a, so had to wait another 30 minutes for that. Security check went quickly and finally was able to get some coffee and breakfast! The small coffee shop and grill had a lot to offer and was delicious! There were several places to sit and charge devices, both outlets and usb plug-ins. It’s been a while since I’ve used a small regional airport, but this was very nice and was kept clean.

Friendly staff, swift and efficient. The terminal is small, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was clean also. How refreshing. It was easy breezy through TSA.

There is a bar with a beautiful view of the mountains. Plenty of seatings that are nicely spaced out. It feels so different than the hustle and bustle of the Denver International Airport. Love it!

My two experiences there have been amazing. Small easy to get around and cost-effective prices to Vegas and LA. First time we flew out we drove two hours from Eagle County CO to fly to Vegas.

    Great airport for the area.

Very nice airport. Very cozy and charming. Friendly staff and hot food even first thing in the morning. Easy to get in and out of and quick and efficient security check.

The airport is clean compared to most other airports but sadly American Airlines management could use some training on empathy and compassion. I reserved a spot for my dog that under 20 lbs to fly with me for a trip where I would be gone for over a month to see my family for Christmas. A manager came over and smiled as she told me my dog could not fly on the airplane due to his carrier being too small. We have been flying on a regular basis for over a decade together with the same carrier and never had an issue. I asked what options I had and they said Cargo but did not have Cargo available and were unable to quote me a price. They were unable to refund me my ticket. As tears formed in my eyes the manager smiled more. It was as if she was happy about me not being able to fly and see my family for Christmas and getting a power high from telling me no. I explained I do not know anyone in the area and did not think it would be an issue flying with my dog since I have done it for over ten years. She did not care and laughed at me. It was disgusting behavior and would never want someone else to experience that. Taking pleasure in someone else pain is not okay. I wasted so much money on a trip I was unable to go on. I hope my experience helps others make a better choice than I did. Do not choose AA if you want to see your family for Christmas and see your Nephew one last time before they are deployed. If you choose to book your flight with AA you most likely will be stranded somewhere. They have so many reviews about it. I feel dumb for believing the reviews. Please use my experience and choose better.
