This place should be embarrassed to call themselves a hospital . If you really have an emergency do not go to this one . I sat for three hours in the emergency room before i was called in . Sitting in here I listened to the man telling people what they had were not emergencies. I have never heard a hospital talk like that . I have learned my lesson and will look for any other hospital around knowing it will be much better. I would give this zero starts if I could

The help was amazing, very friendly staff. I did learn one thing, a lot of people go to this emergency room whilst they could go to a doctor during working hours as they have non-urgent need for medical care. This puts a lot of strain on the medical staff and takes time away from patients who need urgent care.

The personnel is very friendly and well intended. As a process, the flow and work seems like it could be more efficient. Lots of dead times.

For orthopaedics, they recommend to all patients to go to this private clinic (friends?), to do more investigations (RMN, orthopaedic advice.. like really? don’t you havr the same specialty??). Is that ok? I don’t know…

From my part, paying lots of taxes, I expect to get the necessary services from them, specially after waiting 6h to be consulted.

I stayed for a week with my baby of 1 month old when he had surgery. Thankfully the surgery went well. I didn’t have a birth certificate yet and he was treated with no charge. When he was in intensive therapy I was provided with a room where I could sleep and leave my stuff. Some assistants where nice. Im greatful for all these things. In the contrary, I am upset for the lack of communication of the personal for letting my kid starve for more than a day without need. They told me on a Wednesday morning to not feed him bc he will have surgery he starved day and night and he didn’t have surgery until Fridat morning BUT Thursday evening I was told to feed him! Just hours away from the surgery so the time he starved was useless. The worst feeling to let your 1 month old cry all day bc they’re hungry. Also, some nurses where very hostile not treating the baby with care not taking care of his head, forcing a pacifier into his mouth and putting clothing on his face so he wouldn’t drop the pacifier. Being rude with trying to give him medication etc. And as I dont know Romanian well they found every opportunity to mock on me and be rude to me. When I was released they told me to leave without help to carry my stuff or the baby and they even forgot to remove the IV where my baby was receiving medication! I had to go back to tell them. Overall, i couldn’t wait to leave this place every moment felt like an eternity, but I’m greatful my baby is okay now and he recovered.

Sometimes the waiting queue can be huge (30 minutes – 1-2 hours) and there are a limited number of available seats, you’ll be standing most likely. The staff are ok, professional and very kind with the children

Mixed feelings, most times helpful other times without happy ending and a harsh truth. In a nutshell the medical expertise was helpfull. It is designed , destined for children. They expand now, hopefully they manage to help more kids

The doctors in this hospital are as professional as the ones in Viena, except the staff in Louis Țurcanu has something that the docs in Austria don’t… and that is humanity.
