May 13, 2023 I went to the emergency room with incredible pain in my stomach, my doctor had already prescribed medication for bladder infections, I was also 7 weeks pregnant. I went to the on-call doctor because I could hardly walk and fainted and the medication didn’t help, the doctor didn’t bother to feel my stomach, just different medication. 2 days later emergency surgery for ectopic pregnancy with internal bleeding, this could have been avoided if the doctor had done a proper check and sent me to emergency. It was going to be a normal operation without intensive care and internal bleeding, and almost losing my life. This weekend with my youngest daughter at the GP on call, I could no longer eat or drink, I was vomiting and I was in a lot of pain. Inflamed tonsils was the diagnosis but no medication. Then I went back to the doctor on Monday and finally got antibiotics. They wouldn’t even get 1 star from me.

Young people who clearly don’t know much about it.

I had been ill for a few days, my GP had prescribed me antibiotics because I had bacterial pharyngitis, but I also developed a rash so I went to the on-call service. Young gentleman, without doing an examination, decided in 3 minutes that this is due to the antibiotics and that this is not a bacteria but a virus and I just have to stop taking them and of course just take painkillers classic! Not even asked if I have a runny nose or cough which is crucial in determining if it is a virus or not. I looked at my throat “a little pink, not swollen” sorry, I have difficulty eating because of my sore throat. My GP with 35 years of experience was surprised at how inflamed my throat was. The icing on the cake was of course when he asked me why I had come. Just send it back and study again!

This is why many people do not like to go to the doctor, good doctors are always fully booked and the rest do not take you seriously or can only prescribe painkillers. If you’re not dying don’t go, just a waste of time.

Reception was friendly, that’s why 2 stars

Receptionist (older lady with glasses) just sent me away without even seeing a doctor! Came with severe Covid complaints by train and bus from Blankenberge and she says you have to recover from illness for 7 days and stay at home. I am now at my doctor and he has diagnosed severe pneumonia. You guys aren’t even worth 1 star! How can you let counter staff play doctor! Shameful!

Got a lot of help. The doctor was a very friendly man with a great sense of humor. In the calcentrum, on the other hand, it should be much friendlier.

Never had such an experience with a doctor before. I arrived at 10 p.m. and it was very busy, so I asked the secretary if it was okay if I came back later, given that it was my last night in Belgium before I left abroad, this is also why I went to the doctor. had to go off guard. When I came back I was received in a super unprofessional and disrespectful manner by the doctor, who was a woman with glasses. No idea what her name is. She scolded me as soon as she saw me. I thought this was a joke but clearly it wasn’t. I was treated disrespectfully throughout the consultation. If I had been able to file a complaint, I would have done so immediately. This was the first and LAST time I step foot in here.

friendly, non-violent service, with some room for banter, and another one for smoking. the jail cells are rather spacious, however the cleanliness isn’t optimal, especially that of the pillows which i suspect haven’t been cleaned in months, if not years.

Very friendly people, both on the telephone and at the counter, as well as the inspector who heard my story. They responded immediately and I felt supported and understood
