  1. Loved our time in the forest. Lots of fun for all the family of all ages. We will be back and recommend the membership.

  2. Very nice and calming way to unwind and appreciate what’s around you…the nature trails looked fun but I stayed to the boardwalk for stroller purposes…the tree rush looked fun too! Go visit…

  3. Absolutely incredible! Miles and miles of well maintained trails as well as a raptor sanctuary. Activities for kids and adults alike including a rope/climbing/Zipline course. We were able to enjoy it in perfect Summer weather during our recent trip to the Omaha area. Active Duty military receives free entry during Summer. Will definitely be back!

  4. This is one of the best park type places I’ve ever been. 20 miles of trails, the best ropes course I’ve ever seen, and a really cool children’s education center. This place is a must go.

  5. Such a peaceful place for a walk and experiencing nature at its finest tons of wildlife from birds to squirrels and deer it is very clean and well maintained perfect for the entire family or a solo trip ..to just get away from city life for awhile. Plenty of paths and trails and great views of the river

I like going to Schramm park for the trail. There is a suspension bridge and a few other scenic areas on it. The trail I prefer isn’t difficult and is about two miles. I usually take my dog, as the trail is wide and there is plenty of room. The park itself is clean, well shaded with plenty of picnic tables, benches and a restroom. There are fish to feed and usually ducks or geese hanging around. Also, a little playground for kids. It’s a good place to spend a few hours.

We love Schramm! Perfect trails for toddler hikes, a playground, fishery ponds with 25 cent fish food, river access, lots of picnic tables, and restrooms.

The trails were awesome. The main trails were wider, either packed dirt or gravel. There are hills and tree roots so the terrain varies. Lots of shade. The fish hatchery museum was not open but the area around it was interesting to look at. The geological site was pretty neat, too. Will definitely plan to visit again.

I took my two year old grandchild to the educational center at Schramm Park, and it was simply fantastic. There was so much to do, and she loved the animals, makers space and play area. She got in free, and it was only $10 for me to get in. Highly recommend this place for anyone with little kids. Great.

Very nice park for short or long hike. Fish hatchery is pretty amazing and at the cost of $6 per car is a very fair price to go out and enjoy. There was some other camp sites that seemed to not be taken care of which if the park is to attract people should clean the tall weeds up. The river is just across the road and you can rent a kayak at Louisville for $30 or so.
    Fun place!!
    Outside that, highly recommend

Amazing natural trails for walking, biking, hiking. Walking in loops through the rows of big and small trees is wonderful. Biking on trail is a fun. There is a kids play area and baseball field.

Playground area well maintained. Plentiful trails for walking, running or biking. I am glad I had my phone because I got turned around several times.

Gorgeous walking trails, especially with the fall colors on the trees. A quiet, little nook of Bellevue. The playground area had a bit of a smell to it that seemed to be from the garbage so it might not get taken out all that frequently. That aside, the park is lovely!

Beautiful trails that are great for both walking and biking. They are easy trails that you could take your kids on. There are spots that are labeled as hard but there are paths that go around. Totally worth checking out, the park is well maintained.

Play ground area and equipment was cleaner than our last visit. The covered picnic area is covered in trash.l and smells horrible.

Absolutely beautiful trails leading from high bluffs to right down to the edge of the mighty Missouri river. No dogs are allowed, and birds are everywhere. Keep an eye out for poison ivy, saw a fair amount near the trails, and one trail was impassable due to a fallen tree. It was so refreshing to not hear any noise other than calling birds and the wind through the cottonwood trees!

There are no specific signs , and most people know only about Hummel park… but this one is just beyond Hummel park if you are coming from omaha… the trails are all natural not paved

Pretty place. Lots of oak trees. Numerous trails of varying challenge levels, well marked. Maps available at the parking lot. One route takes you to the banks of the Missouri. If you’re not a member, do bring a $5 for the fee box to support the facilities.

Great trails. No amenities, but the trails are well maintained. It’s a very relaxing place to visit, and I was happy to find a few hills in Omaha for hiking. You could easily spend the day here

Jamaica North Trail is another Jewel in our grails of trails. Yesterday I completed a GSV 360 phtotgraph survey of the entire trail from about 6 & G streets to Saltilo Road; where Homestead Trail begins, and Jamaica North Trail ends. I witnessed a biking family arrive at the trail head and literally ride in the light late summer rain. This is something I love to do. It’s an affirmation to see families building memories of biking on Trails here in the magnificent Great Plains of Nebraska.

This is a great running and biking trail! There are equal parts sun and shade. The view over some of the bridges is very pretty.
Very buggy though- bring bug spray!

Parking spaces to utilize trail, picnic table with shelter. No restroom, and do NOT leave vehicles overnight/after dark. Windows have been broken into and tires have been slashed.

Great afternoon on the trail. Saw and amazingly large cottonwood tree and two deer. It was about 4/4:30pm. Explored a little with my kids. Nothing like being outdoors.

Beautiful as always. Very well maintained. Trail handled the massive amounts of rain from the night before. Riding was a pleasure.
