Great service, I had an old mains stop tap start leaking in my new house after using it for the first time. Found these guys on Google, gave them a call, and despite having a very busy day they still got to me within 4 or 5 hours and handled the job no problem.

He asked for a brief description of the issue over the phone, identified the problem immediately and told me they have the replacement part already in their van. So I was already relieved from the get go that the issue could be fixed same day.

Jason arrived, got straight to work and was pleasant enough despite his long and busy day he’d had.

I recommend giving these guys a call for any emergency issues that arise, even over the phone they helped lay some worries to rest with their knowledge.

Emergency plumber needed, called at 10:45am on a Saturday morning and Jason was here by 12pm. Very professional, engaging and personable. Had an issue with a leak around the bath taps, identified the issue, also found the seal around the bath needing sorting so completed it all there and then. Would highly recommend

Jason did a great job sorting out my blocked drain. It was a very difficult job, with restricted access to the pipes, and years of blockage that was a nightmare to shift. Jason worked hard for hours till the drains ran clear and the drainage was better than it’s ever been. For good measure he renewed some of the more dodgy bits of plumbing to give the system more resilience. I will call Jason whenever I have a plumbing issue

I had a leaking pipe and a leaking tap happen at the same time, water everywhere and the stop tap didn’t work fully. Jason responded to my call inside 40 mins and was efficient and professional. He came back Monday to fit a new tap and the cost overall including the emergency call out was very reasonable. I highly recommend him!

I was given details of this device from an orthopaedic surgeon after my father fractured his pelvic girdle after a fall. Being in his 70’s and as he lives alone I took on board all the positives this device could give him. He wears his like a watch and never needs to take it off due to the rubber strap. He does need prompting to carry out the regular maintenance check and to acknowledge that his device is still connected to the internet. It has never been needed thankfully or the emergency services called. It does give us peace of mind that the help will be there in no time at all. We also installed a key safe near his door helps us immensely. There are only 3 people who have the number (my father not being one of them) and I find the fewer people who can gain access to his property will keep him safe especially as he’s very trusting and will give money to anyone who asks regardless of whether they know him or not. Seeing the key safe does have its drawbacks though, it tells potential visitors (good or those with an agenda) that in 9/10 times the person is either elderly or infirm.

I have seen for myself the response time when carrying out a test and I can only describe as phenomenal. The call handlers I’ve interacted with have been kind, supportive, patient, encouraging but most of all treated my father as a human being and not a number or income revenue. I cannot recommend them enough because even after putting up a wall and didn’t want any “outside interference” he sees the box and wearable device as a life saver. He doesn’t like to admit he’s getting older and seeing the deterioration over the course of 5 years has been life changing for us both.

Please, please, please if you want that added security feature that these devices give get one and try for a year. Not only does it give them the independence to live in their own home and not be relegated to a care home but it shows the individual that they still can make their own decisions. This is fundamentally imperative as our parent/parents get older. The worry and stress that having your elderly parents fall and potentially break any bones and can be detected straight away and if no response they make arrangements for emergency car.

Fortunately, I haven’t had to use the buzzer in an emergency but the staff I have spoken to via the unit or the telephone when setting it up or testing have been polite, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I am only 52 but I’m housebound due to disability. My parents arranged for me to have the Telecare24 Buzzer pack, with a key safe, to give me & my family a real sense of security for the time I am on my own – my husband works full time & my children have flown the nest! It has also given me a real sense of independence, I know that I can be on my own at home & someone is only a buzzer press away if I need them, instead of feeling as if I need to be ‘baby sat’ all of the time. It has also given my family the same sense of independence & security – it’s a win win! Easy to install, the pack comes with everything you need and easy to understand/follow instructions. The Key Safe means that visitors such a medical staff can access the house if I am unable to reach the door. It’s a simple solution to what was a very anxious, stressful and frightening situation. I would highly recommend it 😁

I wear my wrist strap all the time and have used this Brilliant service since losing my husband,. I fortunately have not had a fall, but have accidentally knocked it a few times and have been immediately rung by the lovely support people, to enquire if I am ok or need assistance. On one occasion they were unable to reach me and immediately called my daughter, who is first on my list of contacts. I am very pleased with this service, as it gives me and my family peace of mind and enables me to live independently. I Cannot recommend highly enough.

I am very happy with their service. They respond quickly. When I first started using them I sometimes pressed the alarm button inadvertently. They never lost their cool and we’re always polite and understanding.

The peace of mind this service offers is invaluable. The kit is well designed meaning the watch-like monitor is waterproof so can be worn in the shower/bath etc. Any time we speak with staff they are reassuring and helpful. Telecare offered the best package we could find.
