a month agoNo. Just no. Weird rancid smell that I’ve noticed the last few times I’ve been here near the fridges. Today I walked in there and walked out bc it just hit me in the face. Noticed that the fridges had a bunch of towels undeath them. It’s either leaking something, there’s mold, or whatever they’re using to clean it is super strong. Literally another lady did the same and she said the smell was making her nauseous. Hell nope.a week agoStore looks like a hurricane hit. Not productive at all2 years agoFor a Dollar General, this place is really well stocked, and efficient. Just note that there are 2 sets of aisles from what I was able to see, the dollar store version and the main brand (often at regular prices). I noticed that while it looks open, it’s been closed for about a week. Hope all is okay! I look forward to it opening up again!

The manager Ebony was very helpful and welcoming…… she actually told me about the dollar general app to help me save! By far the best!a year agoThe heavy set girl with long copper weave was VERY SNOTTY!!!! The price in the isle was different than the register. She was supposed to give me the item for the price marked. She mumbled something and said it’s what the register rings it up for. Instead of saying we haven’t gotten around to fixing the prices in the isles yet. And was very rude and SNOTTY about it. A gentleman behind me in the line told her I’m supposed to get it for the price in the isle. She got even madder. She needs a customer service class!!!! Also she was not wearing a mask the counter top was filthy dirty. At least you can walk through the store and find things even though it’s a little unkept.2 years agoI love going to the Dollar general the service was outstanding the gentleman with the braids that was working the cash register was very helpful he taking time out when he had no customers to assist myself John White on finding some antibiotic cream and once he start receiving customers he asked one of his colleagues to continue assisting myself I’m the finding that antibiotic cream that I was looking for6 years agoAlways have what I need, nice employees. I went to Dollar General to purchase some Contact paper. They had a nice selection. While I was there I decided to see if they had some nice light gray or silver bathroom towels, and wall accessories to decorate my bathroom. I didn’t fine any.
The E. Lafayette location was closed before 8pm. Its my understanding closures due to not having enough staff to Man store. So I went to this location. Staff very friendly.
CALL these locations first before going.
Selling products containing chemicals that causes cancer and they refused to take it back and stated it’s company policy and I would have to contact corporate offices. No were was it posted of this return policy and the receipt doesn’t state this either.
The stocking lady was very rude she kept talking to the young lady cashier while she was ring up a 20 item around a 60.00$ order I was buying. I asked her to stop and let the cashier concentrate on her job but the stocking lady wouldn’t stop talking and was asking me why she needed to stop Talkin . I was stunned I didn’t stop there to argue so I just walked ou without buying nothing
lets talk about Racism… I find it interesting that this store has a serious problem with customers using the restroom that are not African Americans and refused my son and daughter to use the restroom because we are light complexion ( we are Indian as is the kids father )who drives the truck for their company.. I came into the store again with my son and a gal that worked for the store proceeded to follow us around the store as i was speaking to my son about writing up this review as i do with most of the stores .
I also had a migraine and while in the store, they turned on some kind of loud rap music . The store was incredibly disorganized, and there were items jammed wherever.
I felt the other customers that were in the store were kinder than the ones actually working the store.. Seriously, i am over 😒 the lack of common courtesy and rudeness that Dollar General hires.
