A destination by itself, worth any detour if traveling through Vermont. Beautiful sights and great locally produced products to buy. The bread and cheese are definitely worth trying. You can definitely plan 3-4 hours there if you want to.
Great to visit with kids, lots of stroller friendly trails (as long as your stroller is somewhat all terrain).

The Farm Barn was fun to see some animals up close and watch cheese being made. I stopped in the bakery and purchased a seeded baguette and an oatmeal cookie. The wholesale bakery is apparently open until 5:00 p.m. most days, and sometimes has smaller items available for private purchase, but we didn’t arrive in time during our visit. The store at the front entrance has a good selection of cheese, syrups, merchandise, chocolates, cards, and some fresh vegetables. I did the large corn maze on Saturday. The night time corn maze was cool. Good parking. Admission was $15 which I thought was reasonable. The large corn took me about 2 hours to do. Some did it quicker, many took it longer. Fun loops and bridges. The farm has a refreshment stand which looked pretty good. Good experience and would recommend. We visited to check out the corn maze as it is something we had not done before but decided to grab a bite to eat for lunch at the snack bar. Definitely very complicated, but the online GPS and map helped us out. This was such a fun way to spend an entire afternoon with friends. The farm is absolutely beautiful, and the parking is free as well. The fee to enter is completely reasonable, especially since you are more than likely spending several hours there. This is set on a beautiful piece of land. The museum is very well done with interesting displays and plenty of information to accompany the displays. You can also go to the barn to see the cows. Another smaller area has the small animals and the horses are outside. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and their young. We had a fun and interesting visit. Definitely recommend.
Loved this farm. Though I live in a rural area with lots of farms, I thought this place was very interesting and cows were so cute.
Maps of the place are available and there is lots of panels to tell you what you can visit.
Cows are used to the public and you can pet them.
Bought some cheddar as well and it tasted good.
I absolutely loved my visit here! The cows were so sweet, the farm was really pretty and there were a lot of interesting and educational things to do. We went during the Harvest Festival, and Billings Farm did a great job organizing it, and making it interactive and fun. I’ll definitely be coming back at some point.
We visited this farm on a week day and it was little crowded. the farm is very well maintained. Ticket for one adult costs 17$. They have well maintained Restrooms at the visitor center. They have ample of parking which is complementary.
What to expect?
Few events like milking cow, info on sheep’s and able to pet them. You can see small animal barn, horses stables, sheep barns. They do have cafe inside we liked the pumpkin ice-cream.
So much informative interactive fun with the Jersey cows . Arrived @ milking time , lovely host walked us thru the process ,girls milking told us 7 min to milk cow by machine, 1/2 hr by hand!Sanitize hands is a must and able to pet sweet calves was educating experience. Grounds are gorgeous, goats are Baaing all along fence following your steps.Gift shop inside was decorated , festive, staff friendly.This is a must stop for city adults and esp with kids !Had so much fun with staff , animals, soaking farms ambience and sweeping views.
