  1. I highly recommend GVB. I love using their vegetables for my healthy meal delivery service. They care about quality, the land and their employees, and have great customer service. I’ve also participated in their CSA before and love receiving my box of varied vegetables every week! Thank you!

  2. Fun with kids! A fall visit generally includes a hayride to the pumpkin Field, seeing the animals, and watching the cider press!

Also available to purchase are their meats, produce, and apple cider. They also press other people’s apples into cider, so there were many bins waiting outside the cider press door!

    Animals: Chickens, pigs, geese, sheep.

They book group tours, just send them a detailed email!

Excited to go back for raspberry and apple picking seasons in the future!

  3. Lovely farm right outside of Bozeman. Amazing CSA box program, animals to visit all year round, pumpkins in the fall. Lots of space to wander, fun for kids and adults alike!

  4. Had great fun and love coming here to pick my pumpkins and apple cider that is delicious!!

  5. Really cute, we had a lot of fun. There’s a decent amount of things to do, and it’s beautiful!

So much fun and a really nice family. All the animals look happy and well-called for. They are also very friendly. There’s a huge selection of pumpkins, gourds, and squash – as yours expect. But they also had a great selection of other produce. We got sunburst tomatoes that were like candy! Finally, do not miss the selfie/picture opportunity that is The Gourd Tunnel. What a brilliant idea! We will definitely be going back

Super fun place to pick a pumpkin out for Halloween and see their farm animals (goats, chickens, geese, and a massive pig!) They also sell produce and meat using the honor system in which you drop your cash in a little box. (There was an option to use credit card too) The bacon was delicious!

We have had our company Christmas party there 2 winters in a row and they have the perfect set up in one of their buildings to accommodate a big group with a casual atmosphere that allows everyone to hang out and mingle. They have a good relationship with Sonora Shack who does the catering. We plan to use Turner Farms for all our parties going forward!

I really love this farm, and will continue to visit it. However, I don’t think they should house the geese and chickens together. The geese terrorize the chickens and pluck the feathers from their back, and I’m surprised the owners haven’t noticed a difference in their egg production.

My husband and I have been watching Welker Farms on YT for at least 3 years. They are a great family and we pray for them to have a great harvest. Thanks for sharing you lives with us.

great bunch educating the world on big scale family oriented arable farming. Nick & Leg Arms are the most hands on farmers I’ve seen. Fabricating hundreds of components for their machinery by hand and it’s so good to watch. Makes you realise how tight a farmers margins really are and how much work it really takes to make a living from it. Love the YouTube channel.

It would my dream to go see them even just for a day even though I propbily wont be able to…. I grew up on my grampas small farm and go down to their house to drive grain cart every harvest season but I dont live their anymore. And my dream was always to farm that farmland or even work on someones farm like the welkers sometime.. if a part of my grampas land ever gets passed down to me anyway my parents told me I wont be able to farm it or even make a living off of it. but since I watched their vidows on you tube it has been so inspirational to see them perusing their lives and dreams on a family farm full of loving hard workers.

I don’t ever take the time to submit Google reviews, but the experience buying beef from Logan Mannix has been amazing. We have purchased 2 cows this year and split them with my sister’s family. Definitely some of the best tasting beef I have ever had! The process was so easy. I feel so blessed to live in Montana surrounded by amazing farmers like the Mannix family farms!

The hospitality at this place was so great! We were in town for a hunting dog test, and this was one of ther only places were could get any wifi. They treated us great having drinks and surfing the net a bit, to post dog results.
I’ve been told we’ll be having the test here again, next year. I might drag a few more people along with me, if we’re done back up from Utah.

Just came for the morning feeding. My daughter had fun feeding the chickens and goats and watching the goat milking. Beautiful farm run by a nice family. Also has a nice little store with good meat and eggs.

Had a great experience at this beautiful farm. The house is just great, it’s a new & well appointed, high end farm house with a great front porch with rocking chairs out front to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the region. The kids enjoyed the farm animals and the adorable playground for my 6 year old. We got to harvest fresh veggies, & made steaks that they sold in the farm store and had a great meal on the picnic table enjoying the views. There was a nice road to walk, again with beautiful mountain scenery and a great bike store practically across the street. The little town was adorable too, great breweries, restaurants and shops, and oh a beautiful lake with a beach about 20 mins away. The hosts of the farm, James and his brother were super friendly, helpful in giving ideas of what to do and making our stay comfortable. My husband also enjoyed learning more about farming. Would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

So fun to see a farm in action. The self sustaining approach was refreshing to watch as they utilized the animals to turn over the soil. I have read of the leader, follower way of farming so seeing the chickens following the cows and the natural fencing that they have started was impressive. It was very doable for little kids to follow the guide through the farm and feeding. He was informative, interactive and very patient. We would love to go back and do the self guided tour to see more of the farm one day.

Enjoyed a family reunion using both houses on the property. What a great spot to enjoy and relax while catching up with family we hadn’t seen for years! Beautiful homes with all the amenities included. Highly recommend!

A wonderful farmstead to visit and enjoy! Sitting at the base of the Bitteroot Mountains. Book one of the cabins, and of course, visit the farm store for delicious small batch crafted food!
